What is SMM used for?

The main objective of SMM will be to improve communication with customers, increase brand visibility and reach (potential) clients.

SMM is being done by creating quality content that the consumers of social networks discuss with their friends (via transmitting data electronically, i.e. Electronic Word of Mouth, or eWoM).

The purpose of SMM is to get immediate feedback from customers (or possible clients ), so the provider gets a private stamp at the exact same time, i.e. it seems more human-like.

By means of interactive options on social networks, the customers get the chance to be heard, either by asking questions or by creating complaints.

This kind of SMM is called Social Client Relation Management (Social CRM), which could further result in improving credibility and return on investment (ROI), naturally, if the users are satisfied with content, connection with the business and the service provided.

Passive advertising means boosting actions on social networks by upgrading statuses, publishing tweets pictures or posts on sites.

Users' responses can be examined to be able remove dissatisfaction and to solve problems, and boost their brand expertise.

What is useful is that that information is obtained instantly, which speeds the whole procedure up and opens the door.
